What makes me different? 

My sense of time. My passion to excel. To immerse in a task, dig deep and surface only when it's done. I love my work. Friends call me a workaholic but it hardly seems like work to me!  It's a whole lot of fun most of the time! When I joined the advertising industry I was told, this is not your typical 9 to 5 job! Perfect! That's not how I operate either!  Long live the planner!

What am I good at (or at least I think I am)?

Simply put  I am good:

• working with diverse people, I can get along with most people, just be nice!  I am consistent and tolerant most of the time. I am kind of allergic to bullshit! (achoo!, sorry!) Wannbe's and Superficial turn me off! I try not to make it too obvious but most often than not, it shows!
• working with sharp deadlines, nothing like a challenge to fire up the midnight oil, I guess deadlines force immersion, you work 16-18 hours at a stretch and your mind works faster at assimilating information and putting it all together!
• working on diverse categories, one of the great things about the business you get to work on everything! 
  • Colas, Teas, Juices and Milk (and a whole lot of other beverages)
  • Household Care to Personal Care (mainly Unilever and Henkel)
  • Financial Services (only Islamic Banking, yes I am one of those!) 
  • Technology and Telecom (I think I am quite good at this!)
  • Food stuffs ( Nestle, Knorr, Frito-Lays, Best Foods, Walls and many more!) 
  • Automotive & Aviation  (VW, Hyundai, Daihatsu, Emirates)
  • Media (BBC mainly, Jang and  some others!)
  • Commodities (Sugar and Rice mainly!)
  • Real Estate (Emaar, The Land and bunch of others!)
  • Service (Hotels and Resorts)
  • Industrial (Oil Marketing, Cable, Cement etc.)
  • Government Stuff (Health, Tax, National ID)
• with ideas and creativity - the process, writing inspiring briefs, developing brand strategies and translating them into creative ideas, thinking 360, going beyond conventional media, creating brand experiences, working with creative teams to develop creative concepts is my forte!

What do I suck at?

Doing the mundane, wasting time on frivolous tasks, if there is no WOW potential then its better left alone! or let somebody else do it but not me!

Forced to compromise and accept mediocrity! I say challenge the brief, the client, discuss, spend hours, do whatever it takes to make it right, change the game! if it can't be done, too bad! get off the train, step out of the way! but don't do it for the sake of doing it!
